Wired readers and scanners designed to read one-dimensional and two-dimensional codes, work when connected to a power source. Most of the readers are connected to the computer's USB port using the cable included with the device.

All wired barcode readers offered by the HDWR brand have a so-called Plug & Play interface, so they are ready for use immediately after plugging into a USB socket.

The scanner installs to the system automatically and is visible as an HID keyboard. The Plug & Play interface eliminates the need to install additional drivers, which results in simplicity and convenience of use, and additionally saves time.
